Put a few pinches of glitter or fake snow in the jar. Screw the lid on very tightly. Turn your jar upside-down and watch the snow fall inside your homemade DIY snow globe. Now add several drops of liquid glycerin (or an equal amount of corn syrup) making sure you leave room for air at the top.
Snow globes are a great gift, but what if you want something a little more personal. Make sure there are no cracks and that it can be closed tightly.. Glycerin or baby oil (optional, but it thickens the water and makes the â€œsnowâ€ fall more slowly) .
